Well, i don't need to. But i want to.

At 51% discount, this a good deal yargh?

Oh and im not too fussed about it being SLI ready, my system runs an ATI Radeon HD 3870 x2 anyway, so it's two cards built in one which means to add another graphics card would only make me a douche bag for running three graphics cards. Technically anyway.

Looks good to me... Not sure what normal UK prices are for RAM so I can't say for sure. That RAM is just fine though.

As far as SLI, that's a video card spec only, it does not apply to any other component. Power supplies or memory that says "SLI Ready" means absolutely nothing. Seems like they are trying to confuse SLI people into spending more than they need to. People who get SLI are the types who would easily be tricked into spending money, and they wouldn't mind because they are already wasting money on SLI. :)

Depends on the manufacturer partly as to how much it's going to cost. Obviously brands like Corsair are goint to be slightly more as you're paying for the "recognised brand of quality" and all that jazz. But you tend to pay about £10 a gig of ram here, so to ger 4GB for £40 on a couple of cards that are supposedly worth more like £80, it seems a bargain.
